We started Tenoverten over 12 years ago because there weren't any clean nail salons in our neighborhood, and we wanted a non-toxic environment for ourselves and for our employees. At the time, there were very few dedicated clean beauty brands in the market, which motivated us to launch our line of conscious nail, hand & foot care products.
Today, clean beauty is a burgeoning category, which we're so happy about. We remain solely focused on better-for-you formulas, prioritizing people and the planet in everything that we do. Our packaging is all recyclable and printed with soy ink on FSC paper. We've eliminated outer packaging entirely on all of our nail colors.
We utilize glass packaging where possible and are working towards 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content for all other treatments housed in plastic.
We formulate 100% natural where possible, including our nail & cuticle oils, intentionally seeking out raw ingredients that are ECOCERT certified.
When developing our proprietary formulas, like our acetone-free polish remover & nail colors, we focus on omitting airborne chemicals that could be harmful.
All our hand & foot treatments are face-grade and contain powerful botanical ingredients recognized in the beauty space for their efficiency & results. They are all salon-tested in our flagship salon in NYC.
